Application context
The Ekinex Australia Showroom is situated in Kurnell, South Sydney, a location known for its picturesque surroundings and proximity to Cronulla, a vibrant coastal suburb. The showroom was created as a multifunctional space to support the company's growing presence in the Australian market. It serves as a hub for architects, system integrators, and customers to engage with Ekinex’s home automation solutions. Additionally, the showroom facilitates training sessions, "Lunch and Learn" events, and serves as a venue for industry-related gatherings.
The architectural design is by the Ekinex style office and much attention was given to elements reflecting the made-in-Italy design philosophy. The display panels and materials were custom-made by an Italian company, while all the furniture was meticulously selected to ensure a cohesive and elegant aesthetic in line with Ekinex's values.
Client's requirements
The primary objective for the showroom was to create a versatile space that not only showcases Ekinex products but also serves as an educational and interactive environment. The customer needed a showroom that would provide:
- A dedicated area for product demonstrations and interactive displays.
- A training room equipped with cutting-edge home automation systems and independent workstations
- A space conducive to hosting networking events and professional meetings.
- High-quality, aesthetic finishes that align with Ekinex’s Italian design ethos, showcasing modern, sophisticated home automation solutions.

This combination of Ekinex products provided a solution that met the technical demands of the installation, while also showcasing the sophisticated and modern design that Ekinex is known for.
