Application context

Freshwater is a functional family home that stands out for its visual elegance. The precise, sharp edges of the architectural design create a framed view that draws the eye inwards and towards the bright greenery of the central courtyard. Located in a suburban area surrounded by nature, the project emphasises introspection rather than external views. Situated on a flat plot with a prominent tree in the front garden, Freshwater reveals itself through its fluid spaces and harmonious blend of landscape elements.

Client's requirements

The mission was to create a project that fused cutting-edge technology and elegant design, ensuring a harmonious blend with the existing architectural style. The result is unique: the home automation products have been cleverly integrated into the environment, with wall-mounted controls that blend perfectly into the décor, transforming the living space into a sophisticated yet comfortable environment.

Konnect Me Now took on the challenge of integrating advanced technology into a home with a sophisticated architectural design. The project required innovative solutions due to the limited possibilities of placing control panels and other devices. The residence simultaneously met the needs of both the architect, who wanted to minimise wall and ceiling interruptions, and the client, who wanted a fully integrated and user-friendly home.

The KNX system combined with Control4 was chosen to meet the customer's requirements, implementing a fully integrated lighting solution using DALI.
The customer chose Ekinex control keypads for their perfect combination of design and functionality, while Control4 was chosen to manage the entire house due to its seamless integration with KNX.

This residence now has a complete home automation system: 10 hydronic and electric underfloor heating zones, 7 integrated cooling zones, swimming pool management, irrigation systems, access control, security, CCTV, multi-room audio and video systems, and lighting. All these elements are controlled by Control4, providing a state-of-the-art living experience.
