Description

The flush-mount box is designed for wall installation of Accédo Key. Made of high-strength metal, it ensures a stable mounting, proper cable management, and provisions for water drainage, guaranteeing a safe and durable installation.

Installation

Drill a rectangular hole in the wall measuring 135 × 42 × 38 mm (H × W × D), depending on the position of the outgoing cable.
Leave space at the bottom of the opening to allow for proper water drainage.
Insert the flush-mount box into the hole, ensuring that the side tabs are properly flush against the wall.
Use the box as a template and mark the center of the four mounting holes on the wall.
Remove the box from the opening.
Drill the four mounting holes using a Ø 6 mm drill bit.
Insert the four plastic anchors into the drilled holes.
Remove the cable access covers and route the wiring through the provided openings.
Reinsert the box into the hole in the wall.
Secure the box by screwing the four ST4 × 20 screws into the anchors.
Verify that the side tabs are properly secured and slightly protruding to allow for the subsequent attachment of the Accédo Key device.
Finally, check that there is sufficient space at the bottom for drainage.
