Application Context
The Horizon Apartments, built between 1990 and 1998 on a project by the Austro-Australian architect Harry Seidler, is one of Sydney's historic residential skyscrapers overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge.
The Horizon consists of 250 apartments with the characteristic round-shaped reinforced concrete balconies that create an original wave effect throughout the building.
Client's Requirements
During a renovation, the owners of one of the Horizon apartments decided to equip their home with a home automation system by combining buttons and plates with the minimalist and total white style of the walls and furnishings.
Ekinex Solutions
Through Ekinex solutions, the owners manage the lighting system and control the opening and closing of the blackout curtains.
