Application context
We are in the historic center of Turin, and here, among the magnificent and elegant travertine columns, we find a place that, since the 1400s, has housed ecclesiasts and great personalities under its vaulted ceilings. A portion of this sacred place is purchased with the specific goal and desire to transform a place full of history into a private home aimed at design, elegance and technology. With these conditions, the journey that will lead DimorI.A. to recommend and choose Ekinex, together with the homeowner, begins.
Client's Demands
The owner wanted to manage and control all the systems in his new home directly and with user-friendliness. He wanted to control the lighting, heating and cooling systems, the Audio/Video system, the front door automations, as well as the entire sphere of security both remotely and from precise focal points of his home. However, he did not want to distort the place; he wanted some solutions that could fit within a historic house with elegance. Moreover, the walls of this historic place could not be filled with dozens of wall mount devices all around; instead, the control panels needed to be few, smart, and chameleonic in the context of the house's shapes and colors.
