Surf House: the shape of lightness - Rome

The Application Context

Remove instead of adding, calibrate instead of overlapping... and the concept of home takes on a mild but incisive identity, made up of details, light and darks, and shapes that seem to dissolve into the fluidity of the volumes. This in summary the project of the arch. Raffele Caruso. A fluid and dynamic interior designed to have plenty of free space, a great view and hi-tech systems that make life easier. Everything perfectly balanced and harmonized to live everyday life in a comfortable beauty. Customer Requests

The family who commissioned the project were looking for open spaces to enjoy the pleasure of a cosy yet open house that breathes and relates to the outside world, thanks to the transparent glazed enclosures that connect to the terrace and the spectacular view of the park. In the silhouette of the spaces, where transparency and lightness are enhanced in a refined mood, comfort is at hand thanks to home automation and high-tech accessories, ready to welcome and satisfy the needs and pleasures of those who live in the house.

Ekinex Solutions

The home automation system allows the independent management of the sleeping and living area of the property. Thanks to the Ekinex automation devices, the lights (in DALI mode) and the motorized blinds of the bedrooms are managed and the opening and closing of the vasistas windows are also controlled. The minimalist geometry of the space is also recalled by the Ekinex Deep series sockets in white finish with red and blue LEDs and the 4 square buttons of the 'NF series.
